Yup, us Massachusetts people are way too far gone for even a street preacher to hope for.

That's why we go to our own churches and not stalk some guy on a corner.

No, no, in Iowa, you've got Robert Preston marching through the middle of town singing "Seventy-six Trombones" or something. I know cause I saw it on the teevee.

Hey, I live in Messychusetts, which according to my midwestern colleagues might as well be either Sodom or Gomorrah. Some of em are pretty sure that it's just a matter of time before Jehovah takes notice of our iniquity.

You know something weird, now that I think about it? When I lived in the midwest, there were lots of street preachers on every corner of even the tiniest towns, preaching simultaneously about how the midwest was God's Own Country and how everyone there was going to heck, and the coasts were the source of all evil and demons and the Gay Agenda and whatnot, but now that I live on the East Coast there are no street preachers anywhere. I wonder if they were scared to set foot in the very Den of Licentiousness? Why bother preaching to the choir, as it were?

Hmmm I haven't seen any of those around here. Granted this IS Des Moines, insurance capital of the USA AND the new Hollywood until the stupid governer took away the film industry tax incentive this weekend.

I just feel sorry for all y'all that don't live in the Great Land of Dixie.

I play Dixie as loud as my stereo speakers can handle it at least once a week.

If anyone has a problem with that they can just kiss my grits.
