I don’t mind being a guinea pig I have updated my iPad with 11. whatever it is now. I have to say though I don’t like the changes it’s made to my iPad

Is the new app in the app store? You can't sideload an app on an iOS device without it being jailbroken. That's one of the reasons why I prefer Android over iOS.

Nope, not in the app store. We're using something called "TestFlight" where you can get an invitation to directly load apps on iOS for testing.
