Solved App notifications

Hello so I downloaded the app to my phone and I clicked all the boxes and said Yes to push notifications BUT I'm Not getting the notifications.
I have an LG Android
Can anyone help?

Can you check to see if your phone is capable of upgrading to the newest android version? It may not be which may be part of the problem.
