These are my two new young’uns! The top one is a 10-week-old Easter Egger, and the bottom one is a 12-week-old Speckled Sussex. The hen at top is unusually marked, what is she?
Mine won’t eat slugs, although we have a good supply. The chickens know what's edible. I've tossed slugs in for them, not interested.
VERY pretty lady! These are my two new young’uns! The top one is a 10-week-old Easter Egger, and the bottom one is a 12-week-old Speckled Sussex.
We’re waiting to see how Willow’s (the EE) adult plumage comes in. Her head isn’t as black as when we got her four weeks ago, but our 7-month-old EE has reversed colors, I guess you could call it. This is she on the 1x10, with the littles behind her.

Well, except for the caterpillar!I just worry, given some of the nasty poisonous caterpillars one hears about.
They ate the caterpillar this morning, no ill effects.
