Hello everyone. I've had chickens for just over a year. It all started by me watching youtube videos of really cool coops and decided to build one myself. I ended up building a really nice coop that took 3 monthsof weekends (Inspired by carolina coops designs). I currently have 33 chickens and 3 roosters. They include Black australorp, bufff orpington, Ameraucana, white leghorn, rhode island red, Barred rock, and some red rangers(long story). I enjoy everything about having chickens except them tearing up my yard. I'm into minimizing the amount of daily work needed to keep the chickens so automating things as much as possible is helpful to me. I get in to a lot of different projects and also work 7-7 (only 4 days a week). My other hobbies include amateur wood working, amateur fruit tree grower and spending spending time with the kids and parents. I look forward to sharing and learning with you all.
