Apple cider vinegar in water

I have seen made mention there are health benefits on adding apple cider vinegar to the quails water.... I think I saw it mentioned 1tbs to 1 gallon??? So two questions... what age do you start adding it and what is the actual ratio? Thanks!!

I use it in my waterers in the summer to slow algae growth. I don't measure it but I probably put about 1/2 a cup (8 tbsp) in my 5 gallon waterer.

Yea.. did a search and I have seen everything from 1tsp per gallon to 1tbsp per gallon... so I had no idea!! Thanks for the feedback
