My husband and I have been canning apples and we've been giving the girls the peels but not the cores because of the seeds. I know that one apple's worth of seeds won't be a problem, but how about a bushel's worth? I have 21 birds right now.

Why are the seeds a problem? In the fall my flock gets more apples than they care to eat. No probs.
