We have two apple trees out back of our house. They have loads of green apples growing on them and my brother just tried one and says they are really good. They don't have any pesticides on them, so what are the chances that worms will be in them? We just rented this house and have never had apple trees on our property before.
Out of curiosity, does anyone else have apple trees on their property?

I have apple trees I never ever spray them.....but I do cut them in half before I eat them.......... enjoy!

Have to say though that this year the crop on all of them is very very poor, hardly any fruit ((Sigh)...... topped with the fact that the bords have pinched all the black and red currants and gooseberries!... I have waited years for that gooseberry bush to fruit!

Even after all the rain we got, there seems to be a lot of apples growing. Maybe I will try one and it will help make me feel better... One of our Cockatiels escaped from his cage and is hiding around our house in all the tall pine trees. We are hoping he will fly back to his cage soon!(which is on our roof at the moment):https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=230354
