Once this other baby is up and steady on its feet and active I will move them to their own brooder. My 1st baby was so lonely and crying I had to let stay with the orp chicks from last week until another egg could hatch.

Can't wait to see #2 all fluffed out. So glad #1 has a friend. I have been checking this thread all day.

DH who is feigning disinterest casually asked me when he called around lunch time if the second egg had hatched. HA!

On the second batch of eggs only 4 developed. I had to take one out last night that quit sometime in the last 4 days.

I have 3 duck eggs left that show movement. They are due to hatch May 28th.
