Appleyard ducks

Interested in raising some appleyard ducks for meat. About how long to slaughter-weight? Do they need much grain compared to other breeds?

Holderreads sent me a couple "White Appleyards" I was pretty excited, until I learned they are just a sport of the silver. They are really large. I think they would dress out pretty well. They are about the size of my Pekins. They do not seem to eat much feed.
