Appleyards

Is anyone familiar with Appleyard ducks? Can you tell me more about what they are like? What does adults sell for on average? I was at a sale the other day and they sold $80/bird, is that normal or high? Anyone breed them?

That seems high to me unless they were nice quality birds. I've seen them in my area for 25-40 before.
