Approaching week 25...NO EGGS?????????????????????

I agree its not the egg color its the home grown factor that makes them so yummy.

really?? now i thought they would actually taste better "over store bought" because i can control what they eat. Garlic cloves, tomatoes, rosemary sprigs, bread, and apple slices are feed to them as treats

Well yeah! that's what I meant! home grown eggs will taste fantastic compared to store bought!! But home grown brown and home grown white will taste equally good when compared to each other, since they're both home grown, and you do control what they eat.

ahhh i see now lol! still no eggs yet tho

I have 5 easter eggers that will be 26 weeks this Friday. One hen just started laying 5 days ago. One other is squatting, so should be soon for her, but the others aren't giving me any indication that they are close. I think easter eggers could be just a little slower. IT will happen, though! Hang in there!

Days are still long enough, they should start laying at least some. My first GLW started laying 11 days ago and I got 9 eggs so far. Way better than I expected. But she was 24 weeks old. The other 2 GLW' and one EE are the same age and don't look as mature and have not laid any eggs yet, But I think 2 are getting close...despite the cold nights. Don't give up, some will take longer
