Appropriate slope/pitch for plank

We are putting the finishing touches on our new chicken coop and the chicken door is approximately 30 inches off the ground. What is the appropriate pitch or slope for ease on entering/exiting?

My coop is also 30" off the ground and I use a 6ft cedar 1x6 with rungs 5" apart. That angle seems to work well for my girls.
