Has anyone ever weighed their roosters after culling? I'm planning on culling mine 10 at a time at around 12 weeks of age. I know Red rangers average 6.7 lbs live weight at this point but they are a fast growing breed. I'm raising rhode island reds and im considering various culling ages for the roosters. possibly between 10 and 14 weeks.
In the past I've mostly baked or roasted mine. They fall off the bone at that point and you're skipping a step or two at the cleaning table.
