April 15th Peafowl egg -Peachick swap discussion

I'm interested too, but I don't have any eggs yet either. I've only got a blue pied peacock and a cameo female though. It's my first year with them.

I'm very interested in Opal BS peachicks. I only have chickens to trade, I'm currently hatching Speckled Sussex, Black Ameraucanas, Salmon Faverolles, Swedish Flower Hens, & Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas. I also may have some Cream Legbar chicks later on.

I have hatching eggs for India Blue, Black Shoulder, White and Pied (bi-color, see photo) peafowl. So do I need to open up the swap? I am looking for guineas, turkeys, chickens. I will just about take anything..hope this can get things rolling.

How many can participate? Better yet,how many will participate when they have extra eggs or chicks? We had lots of interest and concerns very early on and then it seemed only a few actually could join. I still have 2 pens that not one egg has been laid yet. They are my IB and Thang pen, thats a total of 11 hens that forgot what season it is.And it's past mid May.My Bronze pen just began laying this week so they are behind from last year. My NPIP certification has been applied for,the paperwork was sent in and has been for over a month now.I can supply info when I get my certification but that may be a few more weeks as slow as Govt offices works today.

I haven't gotten a single egg yet... if they do start laying, it'll be a toss up as to what it is. My peas are still all together, maybe now that the snow is finally gone I can get a permit and build something bigger for them to live in. Right now I have my Silver Pied hen (what color SP? I have no idea...) and Midnight BS hen in with the dark pied, Midnight BS, and Silver Pied cocks. The SP seems to be the dominate one, which is funny because he is three and the other two are five. I hope they start laying soon!
