Sorry my photos didnt turn out very good this time around. I called my husband in when i picked up mutt #7 though. Was wiggling all over. You could make out the eye/head and the butt. Was pretty cool!

I dropped an egg.

Did I drop a (?) egg....Oh no, I had to drop one labled "Dancing baby". Thats what I write on my eggs with moving embryos.

He/she didnt have far to drop but the crack was pretty wide spread. I quickly posted and got some wax. I happen to make candles so I have plan unmelted wax. I set off to perform Egg surgery. I am more worried about the amount of time he/she was out of the incubator while I get him/her all patched up. Took about 20 mins from start to finish. Will post pics later. WHen I was done with the wax, he/she was still moving. Why did this have to happen to a egg that is developing?

I think I have 2 quiters. I didnt toss anyone but I have one with a ? still and one that was marked "Dancing baby" that no longer had any movement

Mine thank goad was just a huge crack with tons of small little hairline cracks. I thought if I put to little wax it would melt so i caked it on. I am going to candle her again in a few hours and she if she is still moving.

I am down to 10 eggs. I had to toss one egg because it had no movement for 3 days. When I cracked it open it looked like it had stoped developing long ago. I have 2 that are still up in the air. One has dancing baby written on it but no movement for 2 days and one is still a ?

As for now we have 4 Americauna, 3 Welsummer and 3 Marans.
