I told my hubby that the lid is not to be opened for anything. I hope we make it 21 days!!!

I set 10 shipped eggs at 7am this morning so I'll walk this walk with you. Shipped eggs make me nervous no matter how many times I do it! I'm using a Genesis 1588 with a turner. Here we go everybody!

Right on Fshinggrl! thanks for the link. Were you gonna candle? if so when? I have 20 assorted eggs shipped from Iowa to California and I'm gonna set tonight in a LG still air with turner.

What an awesome birthday present for your son. Good luck to everyone.

9 barnyard assortment from my flock.

Awesome!! It looks like we have a nice group! I set mine not to roll.. and will change that in a few days. On day 3, I plan on taking a plug out.. hopefully that is what I am supposed to do. That is what the instructions with the incubator say.

well I couldnt wait until midnight, I just put my eggs in the incubator.

I let the shipped eggs rest (pointy end down) for 10 hours at room temperature. And my barnyard mix has been at room temp for 2 days (turning 2 times per day) then resting the last 10 hours with the shipped eggs.

here we go!!!! I'm already nervous. LOL

Here's hopin......

i'm using the lg still air with a pc fan installed and my temps were all over the place then they'd settle down, then they'd be all over the place again - but today, i guess with the 60+ weather we got my temps and humidity have been holding steady - I hope our cold days and snow days are over - I really want this hatch to go well since my first hatch last week I only got 3 surviving chicks out of the 24 eggs i set...

can't wait to see everyone's hatches!! love threads like this one!!!
