April 1st. setting.. *hatching*| need a buddy.

Watched eggs will move... Even if they are duds! Yep.. I thought I had a different mover this afternoon, but then I saw the marking. I candled it and it was clear except for the yolk. I tossed it. I still have 11 eggs in the bator but only expect 8 of them to hatch... At least I hope they will.

Ok, I've been seeing more of my eggs move. No pips, but I am seeing a slight line on my EE egg that I don't remember seeing before. It's near the mid-egg. I'm trying to to watch them. I have a feeling that I am going to have a bad night of sleep tonight. Tomorrow is my youngest's third birthday. I bet he's going to share his birthday with a bunch of chicks! (let's hope at least)

Cool! I'm glad you're getting some action!

My 9th chick hatched about 15 minutes ago. My last mutt egg is pipped, and 2 marans eggs are pipped. I believe only 6 of the marans eggs were hatchable, so If I get 3 I will be tickled!

The other chicks are all doing well, even eating and drinking a little bit!

first baby out! it's my first incubated baby ever!!

Barnyard surprise

Can't quite tell the coloring yet either 'cos (s)he is still wet, but appears to have a yellow head and grey body so far... very intriguing... The parents could be either Red Sex Link, Buff Orpington, or a "TSC some-kinda-black-chicken." My dominant roo is a TSC-random-black. I never could figger out what they were.

11 chicks are out over here. all 9 of my barnyard mutts have hatched. And 2 of the 6 marans.

There isnt any pips in the last 4 marans yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I have already had a very successful hatch as far as im concerned. I'm so glad I put in some of my own eggs though. I would be bummin if i was just relying on the shipped ones.

chickenfever:Still nothing here. I have eggs coming and they should be here either tomorrow or Monday and I am going to toss them the day after they arrive. I have never had any of my last 6 eggs move at all. Today is day 22 for me. So heart breaking to not have a single egg hatch.

I am new to this site, but I have the same setting day as you, and nothing as well. One egg is really moving around, but nothing else. I've candled them, the air sac looks right, and when I hold the eggs to my ear I can hear some scratching. But I'm worried. My setting date was actually the evening of March 31st, so I'm pretty disheartened

If your temps were lower at any time it might take longer to hatch. keep them in lockdown and step away from them. Hopefully they will start hatching.
