How can you tell if the membrane is starting to dry out? The membrane on a few of mine looks yellow in spots and I’m worried

How does putting them in cartons help?

It keeps the chicks that have already hatched from rolling the other eggs around. It’s also used if you are having air cell problems like saddled air cells.
