***APRIL EGG SWAP*** !!!!Emails SENT!!!!

Morning all.....had to take a second to BRAG (yes, BRAG) on my March Egg Swap partner.

First, he had to wait for me to return from a 2 week trip out of the country before sending me any eggs....MANY THANKS!

Secondly, I received 15 eggs from him in wonderful condition. 9 buff orp, 3 RIR and 3 Ameracauna....well, noon today starts day 21. EVERY ONE of the 15 eggs made it to lockdown (shipped eggs mind you).....as of right now I have 2 pipped!

Just wanted to send a shout out to THREEBOYSCHICKS as I have NEVER had shipped eggs perform like his (and his sons). Whatever they are doing, they should be extremely proud and whomever receives eggs from them you can be assured that you are receiving eggs that have been handled with the utmost in care.

I think too many times we "talk about" the bad hatches we've all had from shipped eggs, clear eggs, low hatch rates, etc. Just wanted to share a positive story with all of you this AM

Right now 2 of the buff orps are pipped and cheeping like crazy (bator is in my home office for "easy access")....update more later

got my eggs today from my partner. All eggs arrived safely and yes i opened the envelope.

now i am even more excited!!

I will set them in the morning. i have been trying for this breed and out of 3 batches i have not gotten a hen yet so
