I had a horrible hatch out of that bator over all....so it was totally user error.

My son ended up needing to go out of town for surgery and I had to leave the whole kit and caboodle to my husbands care, so I don't know how many developed etc.....

Lotsapaints eggs are hatching today! I am so glad we got back in time to see them.

They are realy great, friendly birds, a couple of the hens fly up for you to hold them. Scary if you don't know what they are up to though.

Make that 5 Blue Coppers and 2 Golden Cuckoos! I am hoping I will get a couple more overnight! (Yes, I am greedy lots!)

Here is a picture of the babies that I took last night. They look very different this morning...they are all big and fluffy now! My camera's battery died so I will have to take new pictures after I run to the store.

They are healthy and adorable!

The Golden Cuckoo's do not look exactly alike, one is very red and the other much lighter. I will post better pictures later today. The legs on the Blue Copper's are very heavily feathered. In fact, I noticed one even has a tiny tuft on his middle toe like the feathering just kept on going, lol.

I have another GC pipped and working on getting out and another BLCM out of the shell that seems kind of weak, in the incubator we'll see if we get anymore today.

Well, that's cool! I have two roosters and a pullet. The little one that seemed weak last night is up and beboppin' around this morning. I put the two of them in with the others.

I am leaving the rest of the eggs in the incubator for another day or two....just to see. Though I think this may be all.

I do think this was a great hatch and I am so grateful for your sending me the eggs and so many of them.
