Arkansas here...Central Arkansas.

I have laying right now 18 hens. I am getting 5-7 dozen eggs in a week.
By this fall I wll have many more layers as I will am hatching eggs now.

If there is a market in Arkansas I would like to participate.

I have 4 Barred Rock hens: Lucy, Barbara Ann, Laurinda and Kate.
One cochin hen: Lil' Momma
And my mixed flock: 1 Partridge Rock named Pretty Baby, two EE's: Big Eyes and Snowflake, one Dark Cornish: Squaker, and the rest are RIR hens.....all named Red. (Just seemed easier as you can't tell them apart)

Let me know if you can use my eggs!

I am excited. I live in an area of North Carolina that is moving towards a self sustainable community, but do not have an outlet or organization to bring my eggs to market. We have 16 hens and are producing 70-90 eggs a week. I am, for North Carolina laws, still low enough in production to not have to grade my eggs.
In the process in expanding my coop and covered run. I currently exceed the space requirements and they are just getting more. Love those darn chickens.

Interested! Definitely interested

This is wonderful! I have been getting too many eggs and have been desperately seeking new markets to get rid of them. I have actually been contemplating selling some of my chickens because I can't keep pouring feed into them and then having to donate the eggs. Every Time I was going out to my coop trying to figure out who to sell, I just couldn't bear to lose any of them. This is a great solution! I have not counted my chickens recently, but I have upwards in the 60's and am getting at least 3 doz a day so would have no problem fulfilling the limit.

I have many pure breeds as well as mixes with a very pretty array of egg colors. 90% of my chickens are named, the others are not just because some of them are exactly the same and I can't tell them apart. There's one pair of BLRW that I just call the twin princesses.

Count me in!
