I have to admit I fell for it hook, line and sinker. I just happened to catch a comment that someone put on the thread before the mods caught it. I figured it out after that. Too bad this wasn't real, would have been a great marketing idea (Happy Hens Eggs only!) but probably WAY too complicated liability wise. Great joke Nifty and crew!

Currently have 10 hens that meet this requirement and 16 more peeps on the way but they won't be laying for a while. Avg around 4 doz per week and can commit to 2 to 3 doz extra.

Thanks for your effort to get this program going, I think it is a great idea. Lots of times I have thought of approaching a local restaurant, but realized my small flock wouldn't come close to satisfying their needs.

I think the mods did a fabulous job. But the coolest thing was how the word "Fool's" kept changing in my post To "members" when I thought about it and inquired early on!!

And then my post with F. O. O. L. Got throughout for only a second!

Most States require that restaurants buy from a someone/business who has an egg handlers license.

There are specific requirements for handling, storing and washing eggs.

And isn't it wonderful that there will be all those "blue" eggs, added to the mix.​

I currently have 20 Rhode Island Red hens and get aprox 5 doz a week
Sign me up!!!
Our chickens are from my son's 4H chickens and are in a large secure area with wire all around to keep out the varmits

Of course the requirement of having to have names for all of them makes me believe that this is an April fools joke.
