I am very interested in this. I have both LF and bantam layers, and collect about six dozen eggs a week (I think!), but I do have other customers, so I would probably only provide the minimum two dozen a week at first.

There are currently 16 layers, and yes, they all have names.

I'll have some LF BCM X layers really soon.

A smart chef could put the bantie eggs on the 'lighter fare' part of the menu for the dieters! They could still have 2 eggs for breakfast and a lower calorie count. But for start up your probably right, they will want to keep this simple.

I'm bummed too that this will only be in the US.

Who will the Zone Leaders be employed by (BYC, the local restaurants, or the national firm?) I think that position would be something I would be interested in, as well. Will there have to be a minimum number of participants in a Zone to make participation profitable? I know, I know, I should be patient and wait for the rest of the details, but this is really exciting!

I am going to start recruiting in my area, how long must you have been a BYC member? Can you just join BYC, then sign up for the program? That wouldn't seem right, would more time with BYC get your application closer to the top of the stack, or is it first come, first served? I have so many questions! Can't wait for all the details!

I sure hope this works out! I would like to, AT LEAST, make enough to buy/keep a Golden Feather Membership.

i'm in I have 18 layers right now with more to start laying this summer. I avarage 8 doz a week. They do have names Wisher1000 I have the power puff girls too. Blossom Buttercup and Bubbles only mine are BR's

As a Platlinum Member and as an Arizona Zone Leader, I'm so thankful for this new plan!

With the economy the way it is, sometimes I can't fill the chair during the day and working out pickup times and delivery for the BYC National Chain will keep me busy.

You all know I name all of my chickens. My Icelandic pen has my roo Vindur, and two pullets named, Snjór and Blettur... I'm assuming that I'll be getting big white eggs from them by July, and oh,

I just named the last three girls in my marans pen too, so I will be eligible with my own line of BYC restaurant eggs.
Interestingly the names of those girls are "Full, O'ba, and Loney."

Hurray for the National Chain of BYC eggs and payments for feed. It will keep food on my kids table too!

Thanks Nifty!

I would love to be involved in this also. I currently have 10 hens laying with 4 more nearing POL. All have names, of course. Right now I average 3 dozen eggs a week and have plans to double my flock size by the end of summer.

Ha Ha Ha ! Funny you have those, too! I named them that because my kids are all boys and they loved the Powerpuff Girls, up until they realized it was not "manley!" Now it makes them mad to hear me call the girls that because they know I'm teasing them!
