Sorry to belabor this point, but I think it's good for others to learn from your mistakes.

I've been almost an expert on this topic since my very first commercial website in 2001 (a professor reviews site) where teachers were threatening to sue me for similar things you're claiming. Additionally ever since 2001, I've heard the "you're infringing on my freedom of speech, I'm going to sue you" claims from literally hundreds of unhappy BYC members. I HAVE talked to many attorneys about this very important situation, and all of them agree:

1) It's impossible for someone to claim (and win) a case where they are saying a privately held website violated their 1st Amendment rights.
2) All members signed and agreed (including you) that we could delete your posts. Did you read that when you signed up, or just ticked a box without reading? Some would call that... foolish (see what I did there... since it's still April Fool's in Hawaii!)

I HAVE talked to lawyers about this (many times over the past 22 years) and other HUGE forum owners (many bigger than BYC). It's actually an incredibly easy thing to understand for those that do the research.

So, I'd like to request that you please do some middle-school level research on what the 1st Amendment does and doesn't cover.

"If a privately held website deletes my comments, does this violate my freedom of speech?"
