Mind if I join? First hatch of the year is due this weekend, then it'll be a full incubator (~40 eggs) a week every week for as long as I can manage. The waiting is getting to me all alone, I think I need a HAL to survive the suspense

First one out! Still too wet to see anything but silvery-yellow color. Another is zipping.

I'm on day 12, but my broody silkie has decided to join the HAL. Her first baby was under her when I left for work this morning

Why do I have to be at work today?
I just wanna go home and see what's going on in my incubator but NOOOOOO. I have to do this stupid work thing so I can pay my bills. This day is dragging...

The suspense is killing me. Im sooo ready for my little fuzy chics. I keep looking at the bator just waiting to hear or see something. But i still have a few days. My husband thinks I'm crazy.

I'm only on day 3. I want to candle them. Is it to early? I can't stand it. I want to see how many are developing.
