did not sleep much last night... tired... wakes up... no ducklings

can hear one egg tapping... heard tapping last night but not much else...

checked again... 4/4 pips... chirping... some egg moving... 2 days left...

i suspect... one egg... will need help which is the egg i have been worried about this whole time...

but yay ducks!!

so... as i knew it... come home from haircut... THE SINCE YESTERDAY PIP IS HATCHING...

already a comedian... poking his beak in and shooting back in... i believe he is a dark colour as his beak is dark... GOOD!!

hope for chocolate indian runner... hpefully some balis... hopefully one male and 3 females...

hopefully... HE HATCHES SOON!

IM SO EXCITED!! tis like christmas

don't worry people... i am taking pictures... i may have a beak shot...

we are putting in 16 rir's from Vickie/sunshinesilkies & 8 (maybe 11, gotta check the nest quick

)that came from a new hampshire roo & white leghorn hen cross....is there a name for that? so that makes the 24th our hatch day

in ducklings... how are the feet supposed to be after hatching?

also... there is some... what looks like wastey eggy stuff that was left behind... what is it?
