My Welsummer eggs are hatching in the Brinsea!!! The first one hatched yesterday around noon, then nothing happened until sometime during the night. Woke up to seven little fuzzy Wellies. I put the first seven in the brooder earlier today. More have been hatching one after another, and I have seven more hatchlings in the bator. I'm hoping the remaining 10 eggs will hatch today or tonight. I'll try to post pictures later.

I am on day 28 with the goose eggs. the ones under the broody goose are cheeping. they have been cheeping for two days. Not sure if there are any pips or not. Can't get close enough to check. the ones in the bator are cheeping pretty actively since last night. Nothing else happening tho.

Welcome! Best wishes with that!

Thank you so far so good. Temp is staying steady and trying dry hatch this time around. If it does not work I will try it with Water. I know they are just eggs but fun to sit and just watch them in the bator while i am here in the office on the computer.

I'm about half way through my first incubator hatch. They're due on the 19th. The eggs are from a mixed flock from my brother in law and have good fertility so far. I'm really rooting for the one that came from a polish hen. I'm testing my incubator and my hatching skills before I try shipped eggs. I have a new Brinsea Eco 20, so we'll see. I candled them and tossed to infertile bantam eggs out. I also managed to drop a fertile egg on the floor

Well, I got a good look at what an embroyo looks like at 7 days! Then the dog cleaned it up for me

Hopefully no more disasters before the 19th!

Very pretty indeed!
what are the little black circles on the top for?

ETA:
Day 23-

5 black & 3 yellow in the brooder
2 black in the incubator, 2 large pips,
11 eggs to go.

Temp 100, Humidity 70%.
I have to go to work so will check again when I get home. DH made up a song for the chickies......to sing while I am gone.....
"broke 16 eggs what do I get another day older and deeper in debt," cracked 16 eggs ate the corn and Nana don't care!....."
all because I said I would worry about them while we are done to work. i threatened to stay home if he continued....lol

I drew them on top to remind myself and family members what eggs are good and what should be culled. Although today I'm going to cull again - Day 15 and I've had a blood ringed one for a while now.

Here's a picture of the 14 Welsummer chicks in the brooder. Another one is still in the incubator, and there are 9 more eggs.
