and don't forget pictures for all of us still waiting

Out of 13 turkey eggs none hatched. All 7 of the Muscovy eggs were a bust also. I do think I found the problem though. The one incubator had mold inside. There were no signs of mold when I went into lock down on the incubator, so it may not have been visible until it was given a warm moist environment the mold took over. All the eggs started in the incubator it may have been the cause of so many losses.

Maybe the next hatch will be better. I have some duck eggs that should be here come Friday. One incubator cleaned and sanitized. Had it started back up to get it set for the new eggs.

Yes, that's 100%. Congrats they are sweety pies! It the newspaper under them gets slippery, you can always put some waffle shelf liner down for them to get a footing on. They look great.

Oooo! I probably wouldn't mess with the eggs & just let them do their thing. She looks like she'll be a great mama protector. Wonderful pics, thanks!

that is what I thought... so left them alone.. but they are really bouncing around in there.. the incubator is in the bedroom and I can tell it is going to be a LONG night listening to them. Hope to have a new baby or two... or three by morning. One still has not even pipped. one pipped and one about 1/4 way zipped. so surely it will be done by morning. I took a xanax so maybe I will sleep thru it...lol

I have a kiddie pool for them, and I put the wood shavings down then I had an old double size fitted sheet that I put over the edges. so I hope it works ok.

OK. So I have a question this first pip finally hatched about 4:30 this evening there are two more of the three egg's I started with in the incubator and no sign of any pip's yet today was day 21. Is this normal? or do they usualy all hatch at pretty much the same time? He is still in the incubator and pretty dry I've been really good and not opened it and my humidity has stayed stable at 70%, I'm just getting worried I keep going to the bator expecting to see more pip's and so far nothing. Thank you all for your help,

Yes, it's normal if there a day or two late. Ussually that means your temp were a little low. I had 1 hatch yesterday and then the rest hatch today. So just wait a day or two more and you should have some more hatches. Good luck on the rest of your hatch!
