Here is another one of my April hatches. She hatched out 6 of 8

 

[Cavendish Chickens]

We are working on hatching our first chicken eggs. We have 3 Orpington eggs, and so far it looks as though they should all hatch. Today is day 21, but no hatching yet. I have seen them wiggle a little, and one has a little spot on it that looks like a hole from the inside out... but not all the way out. Could be first pip. Was noticed yesterday (day 20). The waiting part is the hardest. I did fine all through the egg turning, and when it came time to leave them sit and wait ... I am suffering now. I am anxiously awaiting the hatching! It's like I'm an expectant new parent all over again! lol

I hope they will hatch soon! I'm not sure how much more anticipation I can take! lol

My 39th egg hatched this morning... 1 egg left in the bator, gonna give it til Monday

It appears my hatch is over! I ended up with nineteen cutie-pie chicks, and one duckling total! Yayyy, now to raise them. Good hatching vibes to anyone who is waiting on hatches.
