April hatch along!

Today is day 9, Is it true that chinese painted quail eggs or buttons have to be in lockdown at 12 days? I am so frustrated at myself and so angry as when I was closing the lid of my Brinsea mini eco incubator ann eggs was just at the brim of the incubator and when I closed it I felt a crack and I already knew what happened and there was a small chick gasping for air

I am so angry!

I hope everyones else's are doing great.

I thought you stopped turning at late 12th day for chinese painted quails, so its day 14?

Mine are hittin the bator in 3 hours.

i locked down 60 eggs on tue(day 14) got home from work today(day 18) and they have started not sure how many yet,they are coming from everywhere

so now just waiting to see how many finish

wow, awesome, mine didnt make I think as just before lock down I candled and 6 were infertile, so that let me with 6 and in those 6, 1 has hatched so far, and I heard them chirp before but no sounds come form the bator now

, today is day 17 by the way. Ill leave them till day 20.
