I have 4 wellsummers, 12 silkies,12 showgirls,and 7 bourban red turkeys all put in on the 3rd. Should be some hatching going on on the 24th for chickens and the 1st for the turkeys.

I have never had any of these breeds before and soooo hpe they do well

I have April eggs in the 'bator, the expected hatch date is the 10th.

I've got Delaware eggs from Seriousbill, they were shipped, very well packed no cracks or chips anywhere. 26 eggs to start with, I candled first on day 10, there were 3 clears and 1 blood ring, so down to 22, which all looked like they were coming along nicely. 2 or 3 looked like they might be late bloomers. I'll be candling again in a little while tonight, (well, wee hours of the morning, really) when I'll remove the turner.

And I candled some eggs that were put in the bator on April 1st, and I'm nearing 100% fertility in the buffs already. All SIX eggs that I put in the bator were fertile and have the spiderweb this morning!!!

Of course I've got more B/B/S eggs in there than I know what to do with. THEY are all growing like weeds. I dont think I've gotten ONE single infertile egg since I put this new roo in with the hens.

I have 2 out of 4 call duck eggs pipped. Today is day 25, so they should probably be out tomorrow.

We have 96 eggs that will be candled and moved to the hatcher on 4/9/09 in the evening. The last hatch we had 2 weeks ago, we had 30 out of 40 hatch. these are a mix of japanese, WFB Spanish, Frizzle cochin, cochin, and standard bared rock, oh and cann't forget wyandottes. We hope to have a good hatch.

I have to say... Time is just hateful! LOL I have two hours before I can go home and check on the hatch, and its absolutely driving me insane!

LOL! Oh I am so sorry!

I've checked on my eggs twice today and NOTHING! I hear no peeping (but I didn't get close enough to really check) I see no pips... I'm going batty!!!

Their due date was yesterday, so I'm going to give them until Friday either way.
