I have lots of chirping and 10 pips!!!!! The waiting is killing me!

Im still not giivig up on my last eggs an LO hatched yesterday....six eggs .left...day twenty five...three hatched altogether.. two were mixed...one a lav orp...all left to hatch are LOs...but were four or five weeks old when set. so easnt real optmiistic about any hatching

Everyone i candled at to weeks and the silkie is kicking like crazy, all my eggs have babies except to im so happy.

Roxannemc, were all the eggs you set in this batch four or five weeks old? Or just the LO's? Did you rotate them daily before hatching? What temps did you store them at?

It took my first pip, right on time (I might add) about 12 hours to go from this:

I don't remember it taking this long lad time and I'm getting nervous

Dont worry, it can take up to 24 hours for them to hatch!

Should I be concerned? Will it disconnect or does he need to be places into a cup until it falls off? Help!

Ok, so now it looks like it is twisting into a small thread right at his vent, so it might be ok? Problem is, I can't intervene because he is my first hatched out of 16!
