Got your box today plumcreek. Thank you for the beautiful eggs! The PO did a job on them! I just love it when the mail person hands you a box that is marked FRAGILE all over and the box is mashed and leaking wet goo!




Well, thankfully 16 eggs survived. They are washed off and resting right now. Going in the bator tomorrow. Thanks again!

I recieved a box of jams but don't know who they were from! I got it confused with another expected box of jam! The jams and honey are lovely! TY so much.

Sent out 2 boxes today, the next will go out Sunday ( we have a po that is open and sends stuff , its as fast as saturday around here) . had an address malfunction.

I got another box of eggs from Iowa yesterday. <3 I'd been wanting some lavender orps, it's like someone read my mind or something. They're going in the bator tonight along with the turkey eggs. Thank you!

Hubby is starting to think I'm obsessive. I think I'll sign up to send eggs next time, but wait a few months before requesting any more.

NO!! it's MINE MINE MINE - all MINE!!! When I was little my dad would give me a dollar to buy a lb of honeycomb candy at the Sear's Sweet stand that was located by the tool area. So while I was enjoying my treat he was enjoy looking at the tools uninterrupted.

Those sound really good. I love the old fashioned candies. Makes me think of holidays spent out at grandma's making all sorts of delicious goodies.

The theory is that if you use cold water (or wipe) that the pores will contract and pull germs inside the egg, if you use warm water (or wipe) then it expands and pushes out of the pores. Just what I know....

That's exactly right. As long as your water is warmer than the egg, and you aren't overly aggressive with wiping and wipe off the bloom, you're good. I wash everything that goes into the incubator here. OCD rears its ugly head there.

Ugg, so sorry they broke so many. I've been spared that so far, but I know eventually the day will come. Fingers crossed for the rest of them!

I received my package a couple of days ago. I just havent had time to post. I can't wait to try it all. I received strawberry syrup, something that looks like a trail mix, and some puppy chow candy which I love.Thanks so much to whoever sent it!

I will send out my package on monday. Have had a lot going on but I will definitely get it out on time.

The post office can care less and they wonder why they are in bad shape, has anyone heard of good service anymore? Mine will be going out before Thursday have to buy more ingredients

It's been awhile since I made candies but don't worry I will do a good job. It's hard to do anything when I watch the grandbaby.

Thank you for the strawberry syrup, puppy chow and trailmix. DH immediately grabbed that huge bag of trailmix and started chowing down. You really found the place to his heart. Will the syrup work over cheesecake or angel food cake, or is it more of a pancake type? In either case it will be greatly enjoyed. My grandson's favorite flavor is strawberry. He asks for pancakes constantly.

Great to hear!!!! We use the syrup for just about everything. I think it would be amazing on a cheesecake or angel food cake. It has not added sugar, it just reduced fresh strawberries and a little honey. It is amazingly sweet for not added adding sugar to it.
