Aquired these today, breed??

I aquired these 6 ducks from a friend before they lost their lives...
I’m a chicken person & know nothing about ducks

Wondering what breed, gender & any other advice would be appreciated

Looks like a Cayuga and some rouens! They all look like hens unless the black Cayuga has a curly tail feather, then he’s a drake.

Looks like rouens or mallards and 1 cayuga. I don't see any drake curls on the cayuga, but it's head is really green, so I think it might be a drake. The other ones are females.

All of them are Rouens other than the black one, which is a Cayuga. All your Rouens are girls and if your Cayuga QUACKS it is also a girl. Nice score!!

As for advice, if you don’t have a pond, buy these lovely ladies the best baby pool money can buy and be prepared for a glorious muddy mess. Also, be prepared for the LOUD QUACKS as Rouens and Cayugas have quite good volume. And now that you’ve posted some pictures, you will have to post more.

You don't need a male duck to get eggs. You only need the male to fertilize the eggs. Females will lay eggs without having a male around. This applies to all birds.
