Aracauna or americauna?

Just picked this gal up. She looks Americauna to me but the lady kept saying aracauna. Is there a difference even? Thanks for your help

The orange between the eyes is marking from hatchery so ignore that.

Better pictures would help but it does look to be tailless which would make it an araucana. If it isn't a standard color, then it's an EE.

I did feel around for a tail and there is a little nub. Although I'm not sure if there should be one or not or how to tell if there is a tail? I'm assuming yes right now. The hatchery she came from offers both aracauna and americauna but not EE. I will try to get a better picture.

Americauna is an EE. It's nothing more than the hatchery misleading and confusing the consumer. There is no such breed.

If you felt a nub, it will have a tail. I am not aware of any hatcheries that carry Araucana chicks. Do you mind if I ask how much you paid for her?

She came from ideal. She was added with my local feed stores order. That way I don't have to pay the outrageous shipping. I bought other stuff with her so it's a ball park amount of 5 dollars? Maybe 4 something.

Yeah there's definitely a nub there. I felt again before I put her back in her house. I was just worried aracauna because I read unfavorable things about their genes.
