Aracauna sexing

Hi,

We have 20 hens, including 9 new birds - 3 new aracaunas. They’re around 3 months old and I think one of them may be a cockerel. I’m not experienced in sexing birds but hoping someone may be able to help.

I have attached photos of the 3 birds and think the middle one has a slightly more red comb and may be the culprit.

Can anyone offer me some advice please?

I must agree, middle bird is looking a little suspicious. Have any shots of the saddle area, just so we can scan for male plumage?

You're welcome! I appreciate the picture.

So far, not seeing any pointed saddle or hackle feathers. Therefore, it's possible you have a pullet who's developing more quickly than the rest.
