aracaunna eggs!!!

I can get you some of my mutt eggs. They are on free range, but I will only gather the blue and green eggs. That way, they came from aracaunna hens, but mutt roosters.

I have been looking all over for bantam aracauna eggs, or chicks. Do you just have eggs right now? How soon could you ship out 6 eggs? Do you take pay pal?

Humm... that is a very tempting offer. Are you sure you are willing to do that?... I don't have any space in the 'bator right now, but I'll check back with you in about a month

that would be outstanding -- I'm going to see if I can get some pretty fowl here locally .. but I'm not holding my breath either

I'm excited about trying to build an incubator a la MissPrissy (have the cooler, have the light socket, easy to find the water-heater thermostat, and HAVE A WAL MART locally, also have hardware cloth ... and a DH who does great fiberglass work)

and actually HATCHING some, instead of watching broody hen do all the work

I love "mutts" ... currently have a half-Siamese cat who is "red with blue dilution gene" which means he's the color of a biscuit or a donut ... neither orange nor cream

dog is shepherd x black lab

had had in the past a bobcat x domestic red cat (really interesting personality)

miss my chickens from Maui, mostly EE mixes or RJF mixes

Candy

(waiting until both Utah and Washington weather become more springlike ? )

Ya, the weather isn't treating me very nicely. I'll add you to the list for some mutts

no matter what anyone tells you, you should always have a tailed bird to breed into your flock after a few years of just breeding rumpless, as it will give you nice long backs down the line.
As you breed rumpless to rumpless you will get poopy butt chickens and shorter backs in time. Always remember this in the future. this is a fact with this breed..

Tuft to tuft is in most cases deadly but we've hatched chicks from this type of breeding and seen some nice tufts come from it.

Plus there is a good secrete to breeding the tufts but i cant revele this in open forum..

here is a result of mating a tuft to tuft..Super Sparks is his name

Mine aren't bearded, but I'm getting some bearded chicks to breed into my lines.
