I saw another post about putting a sock or something around their neck so it feels weird and they don't crow? After this they both started crowing yesterday afternoon so going back to the breeder for new homes

Thank you so much, I was fearing the worst! I live in suburbia and can't have roo's unless I can try the trick to stop them. Are they very vocal birds?

It depends on the rooster. Quite a few of our past roosters put all they had into their crow, every time, often-times and they were loud. Thankfully, the two roos we have, have nice crows that aren't too loud. They also don't crow constantly throughout the day; just every now and then. : )
