Araucana chicks. 6 weeks old. What sex are they?

Araucana are rare enough in the US that most people in the US don't realize there's such a difference between them around the world. They're both beautiful birds, but imho really two completely different breeds.

Interesting observation about them being different breeds. It'll be interesting to see how they look when they're grown up!

Thanks for the update once again! I have a pea-combed breed that's part Araucana so have been frequenting these threads to try to sex my own! Solid colored birds with pea combs are tricky!

No problem. I always hate when I'm searching to find answers but people don't end up updating the outcome haha. My 2 grew in their tails VERY differently to each other too, which really threw me off
