"Araucana" eggs on Chopped

I think it's weird that the chefs couldn't figure out they were chicken eggs? That's why I was going to go watch it. All types of eggs are used in baking, etc. But each egg I've ever dealt with has a different look, or texture.

Yeah, I don't know. They used them just like chicken eggs, so maybe they did know, just were confused by the name.
 
I'm sorry, I know that most people don't know the difference, but if you're going to talk about Araucanas the LEAST you can do as a Professional Chef is look up the fact that they only should lay BLUE eggs.

Doesn't matter if it still is an EE, the least you could do is weed out the brown and green ones.
