we just adopted this beautiful boy from a friend of ours who is moving back to the city.
i assumed he is an araucana, but wanted to run this by you guys... think he is mixed, or pure araucana?

still new and can't post real URLs.. please bear with me.. just remove the spaces in the link below:

He looks like a Salmon Faverolles. Does he have leg feathers and 5 toes? http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGD/Favs/BRKFaverolles.html Not an Araucana though. They have ear tufts and are rumpless. http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry//CGA/Arau/BRKArauTrue.html

just googled salmon faverolles and that's definitely what he is! thank you for enlightening me!

Yeah... that's a salmon faverolle cock, no if's and's or but's about it.

Araucanas are rumpless and have tufts, not muffs.

I agree with everyone else. When you post a photo, since you have a photobucket account, all you have to do is click the share button, go to the get the link code tab, and copy/paste the code under the IMG for bulletin boards & forums title.

yes i know how to post links... but when you have less than 10 posts on BYC, it won't allow you to post pictures or URLs. that's why i did that
