I’m also planning on going to... well, mostly araucana. I’m gonna have EE, but i want to keep my araucana together. Not gonna be able to breed color to color since I don’t have it. An did I don’t have room for more coops.

Welp... I’ve learnedly a valuable lesson today.
This fall/winter I hadn’t meant to worm everybody, like I’ve done before when less of the girls are laying. Well... I forgot this year. Yep, you see where this is going. I got home and went down to the run to let the ladies out, as per usual, but not the kids yet. I refill food, etc... come back up to the house where the ladies are waiting for their afternoon scratch. There, next to my back door is a wriggling pile of poo.
SO I run around dumping and refilling water with dewormer in it, even a few drips to the kids, since if they were hen raised, they'd get it anyway and they're in the extended run. Now I gotta figure out how to worm my dog too.
NEVER gonna forget now! Let me tell you!!!!![]()
Sorry, I misunderstood/misread your post. I'm going to hatch from the clean faced blue (well both of them) until I get another Blue Boy. I'm paranoid I'm going to lose him and not have a replacement like him.
Lovely Silver Spangled Hamburg hen!Not one of my araucana... but draw me like one of your French girls... not 2 min out of the run. LOLView attachment 1827168
