I forget, who was it that was looking for either tufted and rumpless roos or pullets? Anyone remember?
'cause I think I may have an extra double tufted, rumpless cockerel. Time will tell, though I am pretty sure, but the chick is turning five weeks old this coming Friday. He is black and hatched from an egg from Chicken Scratch Poultry. Another hatchmate I'm not sure of the sex, could be a roo, could be a pullet. But the comb seems less intense. And the black chick I think is a roo has HUGE burly roo legs. Though even if someone is interested in him, I've never shipped a bird before. And he's too young right now, too, right?
Anyway, pictures of the duo! Both are rumpless and tufted. Black chick first. What do you think the sexes are?
Next is the other chick, very pretty. I do hope this one is a pullet since I already have a pair of 'keeper' roos, but if this one is a boy, will be a keeper too I think!
