Yeah, I talked to him this morning and he told me the same thing. I know how he feels because I have a backlog of egg orders to ship out and alot of broody hens here. But I don't work with black, just the duckwing and BBR. Plus I have two AOV pens.

This was a GREAT hatch. I ended up with 8 Speckled Sussex, 2 Coronation Sussex and 9 Araucana, one who is bilaterally tufted nicely and one who has a tuft just on the left.

I see splash coloration in that color variation #2 photo and perhaps in your dbl tufted baby. I LOVE the splash feather color.
Is that last little cutie a blue?

Gorgeous chicks, MA Mama, and so sorry for your losses this past week. Coberdor sent me hatching eggs and I am on day 2, speaking to them softly through the plastic panes of the incubator telling them they are all champions and gentle and tufted! Seeing your photos makes me even more excited, now.

AND, to Shanshan51 and Poularde, is Yashar a member of Back Yard Chickens? I'm interested in those Collonca eggs.

Variation #3 is a cuckoo, #2 are splashes possibly even splash cuckoo, #1 is a duckwing based color, #5 is blue, #4 looks like a red pyle or something. I got one of those too. Very cute and congrats!

Congrats on the great hatches! Love the photo's too. I Love taking picks of my chickies too. I need to take some of the latest chicks, I have several with double tufts. Best hatch in a while here too. Hoping for more on Thursday.
