Just wanted to share a chick that hatched a week or so ago. I had overlooked it as there were several hatching and I had been hatching several blue chicks but this one caught my eye the past couple of days. It was definitely "different" than any of the blue chicks I'd ever hatched. Looking closer, I am pretty sure this chick is a chocolate/blue cross.

One rooster for both black and colored programs isn't going to work very well. if you use any of those roosters on black hens, you will get offspring with various amounts of bleed through. Really you should have 1 rooster per color you plan to work on because those colors are not compatible. Sorry

Ok so my goals this year are Duckwing, BBR and Black. So If you were to chose ONE of the boys below which one fits the bill.
