My hubby also, but he is glad that I have a hobby and I think he secretly enjoys the chickens almost as much as I do, but he would never ever admit it.

Go Bud, Go Bud, Go!!!By the way, since my "Bud Light" was pretty much white...this cute chick must be a blue.
My girls just began laying beautiful blue eggs this week!

Yeah I thought so, I looked at his/her wings and it didn't seem like the type that I could see a definite, like I could with some of my other breeds.Unfortunately no.
Go Bud, Go Bud, Go!!!
Most likely not. Your rooster may be rumpless, but he obviously has tail modifier genes that will affect what he produces. I get more fully tailed chicks out of my partially tailed rooster than I thought I would. If I breed a rumpless rooster that has a droopy tail feathers to a fully tailed hen, will I get any full rumpless chicks?
Take your rumpless rooster to your tailed hen. You will get as much as 50% rumpless with that breeding. You may get less, but you probably wont get a higher percentage.I didnt think so. I picked up a rumpless rooster yesterday and he also gave me the one with the tail feathers. I dont have any rumpless hens right now.
