Hey y'all. I have been reading some old posts from this thread this morning. Interesting stuff!

I just brought home 5 one-day-old (supposedly) pure araucana chicks ALBC sponsored. I'll believe it when I see the eggs though. I am still excited by the hope of blue or green eggs though! I hope to post pics of the little darlings soon---maybe y'all can give me some feedback?

That is the Black, Blue, Splash pen so I would say it is blue.

So happy. This is such a sweet chick, and very calm and friendly. The buff orps and it are BFF's. Can you feather sex an araucana?

By the way, since my "Bud Light" was pretty much white...this cute chick must be a blue.

Ha ha ha Funny you should ask... I have a friend wanting to trade me some Legbar eggs right now. So, my guess is that I'll have them as well.

Hubby keeps wondering if his building projects will ever end???
