Lovely! The chicks look like they're doing great and nice variety of color! I love that your dog is "kissing" the new arrivals - how darling is that. Hope all is going well with the rest of the hatch.
Ohhh...I'm so glad you came up with this thread related to Araucana. I'm new to the forum and working on the true bantam araucana hobbie. I also got eggs from skyblueegg at ebay and hopefully expecting hatches in a two more weeks. I'm in Puerto Rico and have no idea how those eggs were handled at the post office, however if I get two or three out of the dozen, I will consider myself very lucky and happy. If I can find anyone that can sell me a trio I will be very happy to know about it. Araucana friends are very welcome! Thanks!

People say it either Goden Duckwing or Silver Duckwing lol they havent decided
These are two different varieties. The difference in the hens is minimal, in the cocks it is very noticeable. With a hen it should be gold duckwing, not golden, lol.
Gold has two copies of gold, golden has one copy of gold and one of silver. Hens, of course can carry one one of this gene, so they are either gold or silver.)

I'm waiting for eggs from her - they should ship any day now!!!! We'll all have cousins and brothers and sisters of each other's chickens!! We'll have to re-name this thread "hatching skyblueegg eggs" or something like that.... That's quite a trip for your eggs to take, to Puerto Rico. Let us know how the hatch goes.
Yeah, she's a real sweetheart towards us, but she sure give our poor Faverolles girls hell. She's was recently mounted by our EE roo, so I currently got one of her egg's in the incubator. I can't wait to see what hatches out.
