Araucana thread anyone?

so, I have been reading through this thread, hoping to read about eggs. I have a LF Araucana and a banty Araucana, both are black with dark slate legs and are tufted (me and mini me), both have tails and dark eyes.

My question is- what color eggs should they produce? I have read they should lay blue eggs but I think the banty laid a pinkish egg today. She is in a pen with a crele serama roo and a serama hen. The serama has laid and her eggs are much smaller in size..

My LF is in my LF pen with a couple of Amercaunas so I can't determine her eggs yet- I am getting some olive eggs but who knows?

If you are in the US and your chickens have tails, you do not have Araucanas.

oh, just going on what my brother in law called them when I got them from him, but he is from England so maybe it is a nomenclature thing

Probably they're Easter Eggers. Unless they fit into the breed standard of Ameraucanas.

If they have tufts, they are not Ameraucanas. Ameraucanas have muffs and beards. Ameraucanas only lay blue eggs, another reason your hens may be Easter Eggers.
